SUMMER INFORMATIOtN

This message is for all families who have a student participating in Extended School Year (ESY) through Special Education or for families who have a high school student who has submitted an application for summer school credit recovery.

ESY for grades PreK – 8 will occur June 1 – June 26.  We will be continuing to follow the distance learning model currently in place with an updated calendar to reflect packet distribution and collection dates.   Students will be provided paper packets to support continued progress toward IEP goals. 

Tracy Young Adult Program (TYAP) will also occur June 1 – July 2 and will be continuing to follow the distance learning model currently in place with an updated calendar to reflect packet/resource distribution and collection dates.   Students will be provided paper packets and/or resources to support continued progress toward IEP goals.

ESY and Credit Recovery for grades 9-12 will take place June 1 – July 2.  We will be utilizing access to the on-line curriculum through Cyber High/Edgenuity in a distance learning model.  Students enrolled in this program will be provided a device and a hot spot to facilitate access to the curriculum. 

A letter will be sent home the week of May 25 to families providing further information regarding their student’s participation in these programs. 

If your child will no longer be participating in Extended School Year, please contact the Special Education office at 830-3270. 

If your child will no longer be participating in summer school credit recovery, please contact your student’s counselor.
